In case you don’t know me at all…I’m Becy (like Becky without the K). I live on Skye with my husband, 3 young children (Belle, Eli and Aria) and our pup, Orla!

I’m an artist at heart! I studied fine art in the UK and Germany and have had a camera pretty much glued to me since I was  9. So much so, I feel as thoughI have a built in light meter. I hadn’t always imagined myself as a photographer though, photography was always there, but I didn’t really think I could make a whole career out of it. I assumed I would go into teaching or lecturing…that was until Belle came along.

I started Belle Art Photography back in 2016 when Belle was just a tiny baby. I went from shooting small local families to destination weddings in just 2 short years. In 2019 I had Eli and after a difficult year of shooting 40 destination weddings and elopements whilst breastfeeding a newborn, I was named a Rangefinder Rising Star and the hard work felt like it had truly paid off! This was also the year I fell head over heels in love with elopements and the Scottish Highlands.

At the beginning of 2020 we moved to the Isle of Skye quite spontaneously. With just a few elopements in my portfolio, I set about affirming my brand as an expert in the elopement field during lockdown. 2021 was the beginning of Elope With Belle, an all inclusive elopement package for couples. The last few years have been a huge learning curve and very rewarding. I have grown Belle Art Photography to the successful 6 figure business that it is, had another beautiful baby, become the sole earner for my family of 5 and bought our first house.

Last year was a big milestone for my business as I finally took on the help I needed to grow my business in the way I have dreamed! (Thank you Harriet and Emmelie!) I’ve always loved teaching and I’m so excited to have the time to educate creatives like yourselves to enable you to achieve your business goals!
